About
Sideridis Optics, a brand specializing in optical goods trading – one of the oldest in Greece, established in 1980. Today, the company operates 5 stores in Thessaloniki, recognised
as one of the leading optical retailers in Greece.
We were tasked with creating a new, dynamic visual identity. Taking into account the diverse morphology and visual aesthetics of the network’s stores, we developed a systematic identity based on iconology & typography. A single geometric sans – serif typeface was used throughout the identity applications, with custom Greek characters.
Specialty papers and printing techniques such as foil stamping and lamination result in a prestigious new look & feel. This system works with symbolism and textual content, according to application. This highlights the diversity of the store network, while preserving a distinct character. The visual system evokes an elegant yet bold identity, characterised by consistency and prestige.
